Residential mortgage loans are defined as loans primarily for personal, family, or household use secured by 1-4 unit dwellings, including condos, co-ops, and mobile homes.

Notification Requirements (Section 10166.02): Real estate brokers making, arranging, or servicing 1-4 unit residential loans must notify the Department within 30 days of commencing activity. Salespersons acting under broker supervision have the same requirement.
